Portraits

 Stranger Portrait - Aislinn
This is a friend of a friend. I asked her to be herself and she did multiple poses, but I feel that this one was the best because her crazy personality shines through.

Family Portrait - My mom
My mom and I went to the Carnegie Museum of Art over the weekend when she visited. I took a lot of photos in the museum, most of them being goofy.  This exemplifies how she is all the time. I feel that her green sweater really pops from all of the gray around her.

Self Portrait
This portrait is of me in my sorority letters. I feel this shows a big part of my life that some people don't know about.

Assignment #1 - Bad Photo

This is the worse photo that I took from my 100 photos because it doesn't really have a focal point.

Assignment #1 - Good Photo

This is one of my favorite photos that I took because it is a nice view of the city.  I like how it shows the road, trees, river, bridges, and houses.

Assignment #1 - Edited Image

I edited this image by changing the white balance and exposure of the original photo.

Annie Leibovitz - Disney Dream Portrait Series

Annie Leibovitz is another of my favorite photographers. All of her photographs from the John Lennon and Yoko Ono to her Vanity Fair covers. The Disney Dream Portrait Series has been one of my favorites since she placed celebrities as the Disney characters we all grew up with. I especially like the Cinderella photo because that was my favorite Disney movie growing up.

Ansel Adams - Moon and Half Dome

This is one of my favorite photographers and favorite photos. This photo is a great depiction of the beautiful Yosemite National Park.
